Pandu Parvikardrakadi Kashaya
A decoction of Vacha, Ardraka, Kakamachi and Mandookaparni for Pittaja anemia.
Pandu Parvikardrakadi Kashaya — Overview
Pandu Parvikardrakadi Kashaya treats Pittaja Pandu — anemia with a Pitta component. It is prepared from Vacha, Ardraka (fresh ginger), Kakamachi and Mandookaparni.
The text also offers an alternative preparation in which Tila seeds are pounded with Bhringaraja juice and administered internally along with Loha Bhasma (calcined iron), directly addressing the iron deficiency and hepatic congestion underlying this form of anemia.
