Padma Kinjalkadi Kashaya

A decoction of Padmakesara, Vasa, Rakta Apamarga and Kutaja used for bleeding hemorrhoids.

Padma Kinjalkadi Kashaya — Overview

Padma Kinjalkadi Kashaya combines Padma Kinjalka (lotus stamens), Vasa, Rakta Apamarga, Mustha, Kutaja Twak, and Satavari — a cooling, hemostatic cluster.

An alternative preparation is to pound sandalwood (Chandana) with buttermilk and take it with Takra. Both are indicated in Raktarshas — bleeding hemorrhoids with persistent blood loss.
