Paccha Endiyadi Gutika — Overview
Paccha Endiyadi Gutika is a strongly astringent and anti-diarrheal pill containing Ardra Amrasthi (fresh mango seed), Changeri, Dhataki Pushpa, Hingula, Hingu, Lodhra moola, Ajamoda, Kutaja, Jatiphala, Mustha, Ativisha, and Ahiphena (opium) — each in one part.
The ingredients are pounded with Salmali moola Swarasa and rolled into pills of Badara Phala dose, administered with honey or Kutaja Phanita. It is specifically indicated for severe Atisara (dysenteric diarrhea), where opium and Kutaja combine to arrest intense bowel activity.
