Nonganadi Ghrita — Overview

Nonganadi Ghrita is a medicated ghee used in obstetric care. The formulation uses a paste of Dhanyaka (coriander), Triphala, Yavani, Yashtimadhu, Saindhava, and Haridra, cooked in cow's ghee with a four-part liquid blend that includes Nongana grass, tender coconut root, Bhumyamalaki, Bala root, and Upodika juice.

It is indicated as a Garbha Palaka (nutritive tonic for the developing embryo) and Sukha Prasava Karaka (promoter of easy childbirth).
