Nili Nirgundyadi Taila
A medicated oil containing Nili, Nirgundi and Bhringaraja applied on the scalp for seven days to treat scalp hemorrhoids.
Nili Nirgundyadi Taila — Overview
Nili Nirgundyadi Taila uses a Kalka of Trijataka, Bakuchi and Kushta — one pala each — cooked in sesame oil with juices of Nili, Nirgundi, Bhringaraja, Dhattura, Haridra, Kosataki, Chincha (tamarind) and Arka leaves as Drava Dravyas.
The procedure specifies application on the scalp for seven consecutive days. It treats Kapala Arshas — a scalp condition resembling hemorrhoidal growths or stubborn nodular lesions of the scalp.
