Nalpamaradi Vranaropana Tailam — Overview

Nalpamaradi Vranaropana Tailam is a wound-healing medicated oil prepared with Nalpamaram (the four Ksheeri Vriksha barks), Sariba, Triphala and Chandana as Kalka in sesame oil.

The drava dravyas include juices and decoctions of Sushavi, Katutumbi, Aswakarna, Paribhadra, Apamarga, Nimba, Haridra, Nirgundi, Asthisrinkhala and the Dasa Pushpa group of ten auspicious herbs (Vishnukrantha, Durva, Bhringaraja, Sakralatha, Varahi, Bhadrika, Sahadevi, Sasakarni, Lakshmana and Lajjalu). Its primary action is Vranaropana — promoting wound healing.
