Nalikera Ghrita

A simple medicated ghee prepared with tender coconut water and Trayanthi juice, used for swelling, abdominal tumors and abdominal disorders.

Nalikera Ghrita — Overview

Nalikera Ghrita is a minimalist medicated ghee with no paste herbs (Kalka Dravya nil). Cow's ghee (1 prastha) is the Sneha Dravya, and tender coconut water (Keri), Trayanthi juice and cow's milk (1 prastha) serve as the Drava Dravyas.

It is indicated in Sopha (edema/swelling), Gulma (abdominal tumors) and Udara (abdominal disorders), offering a gentle, cooling option where harsher formulations are contraindicated.
