Mukhapaka Hara Kashaya — Overview

Mukhapaka Hara Kashaya is a classical decoction indicated for Mukhapaka — inflammation and ulceration of the oral cavity (stomatitis). It combines Saptacchada, Usira, Patola, Mustha, Haritaki, Katukarohini, Yashtimadhu, Aragwadha and Chandana.

These herbs together possess cooling, astringent, bitter and wound-healing properties that soothe inflamed oral mucosa and promote healing of ulcers.
