Mudgadi Kashaya
A decoction of fried green gram (Bhrishta Mudga) used for vomiting, diarrhea, burning sensation and fever.
Mudgadi Kashaya — Overview
Mudgadi Kashaya is a remarkably simple preparation: a decoction of Bhrishta Mudga (fried green gram) administered with parched rice (Laja), honey, and sugar.
Despite its simplicity, it is indicated in a cluster of conditions that share Pitta-aggravation — Chardi (vomiting), Atisara (diarrhea), Daha (burning sensation), and Jwara (fever).
