Mridwikadi Gutika
A pill of Draksha, Trikatu, and rock salt pounded with goat's milk, administered as nasya to restore consciousness.
Mridwikadi Gutika — Overview
Mridwikadi Gutika is a small pill formulation made from equal parts of Mridwika (Draksha/raisins), Maricha, Sunthi, Pippali (Kana), and Saindhava (rock salt). The drugs are pounded with Nari Ksheera (woman's milk / goat's milk) and formed into pills.
It is administered as Nasya (nasal instillation) and acts as Sanjna Prabodhaka — a consciousness-restoring remedy indicated specifically for Murcha nasa (removal of fainting and unconsciousness).
