Mridwikadi Ghrita
A medicated ghee prepared with raisins (Mridwika), Gokshura, Ananta (Sariba) and Punarnava decoction, used as an aphrodisiac and semen promoter.
Mridwikadi Ghrita — Overview
Mridwikadi Ghrita is a sweet, cooling medicated ghee prepared with a simple paste of Masha, Ela (cardamom) and Jeeraka in cow's ghee. The decoction liquid is made from Mridwika (raisins), Gokshura, Ananta (Sariba) and Punarnava — all herbs traditionally used to nourish the reproductive and urinary systems.
Its primary action is Sukra Vardhaka — it promotes the quality and quantity of semen and reproductive tissue, making it a classical aphrodisiac and vrishya formulation.
