Masurika Dhatri Chandanadi Kashaya — Overview

Masurika Dhatri Chandanadi Kashaya is a decoction for Masurika (measles or smallpox-like eruptive fever). It contains Dhatri (Amalaki), Chandana, Ervaru Bija (snake cucumber seed, Cucumis utilissimus) and Sitam Gunja Phalam (white Gunja fruit).

The decoction is administered internally with Tandulodaka (rice-wash water) which cools the body and supports recovery from the eruptive illness.
