Marichadi Gutika — Overview
Marichadi Gutika is a pepper-based pill formulation prepared from Maricha (1 part), Tankana (2 parts), Parada (3 parts), Gandhaka (4 parts), Mahoushadhi (6 parts), and Jaipala seeds equal to the total. The ingredients are pounded with fresh ginger juice and rolled into 1 Gunja sized pills.
Administered with cold water, it relieves edema (Sodha), abdominal tumors (Gulma), abdominal disorders (Udara), Ashtila, spleen disorders (Pleeha), and diseases of the abdomen (Kukshi roga), while also acting as a mild purgative.
