Maha Mayura Ghrita

A superior version of Mayura Ghrita enriched with Jeevaniya herbs, used for tissue wasting, voice loss, respiratory disorders, and infertility.

Maha Mayura Ghritam — Overview

Maha Mayura Ghritam is an enhanced version of Mayura Ghrita. The paste includes a very extensive list of nourishing and rejuvenating drugs: Jivanthi, Triphala, Meda, Mridwika, Samanga, Chavika, Bharangi, Kashmari, Atmagupta, Mahameda, Kharjura, Yashtimadhu, Jivaka, Satavari, Vidari, Ikshu, Brihati, Sariba, Durva, Gokshura, Sathi, Poushkara, Punarnava, Tavakshiri, Kakoli, Dhanvayasa, Madhooka, Akshoda, Badam, and Munjata. It is cooked with peacock meat soup, a Dasamoola-Bala-Rasna-Yashti-Triphala decoction, and milk.

The text says it is superior to Mayura Ghrita. It is indicated for Dhatu Kshaya (tissue depletion), Indriya nasa (sensory dysfunction), Swara bhramsa (loss of voice), Swasa (asthma), Kasa (cough), Ardita (facial paralysis), yoni dosha, Rakta dosha, Sukra dosha, and Vandhya (infertility).
