Maha Jwarankusha Rasa — Overview
Maha Jwarankusha Rasa is an intensified version of Jwarankusha Rasa, containing Suddha Sutam/Parada (1 part), Vatsanabhi (1 part), Gandhaka (1 part), Dhattura bija (3 parts), and Vyosha/Trikatu (4 parts each).
The drugs are pounded with Jambeera Swarasa and Ardraka Swarasa and rolled into pills of Gunja Bija size, administered with Ardraka Swarasa. It is indicated for Sarva Jwara — all types of fever. The formulation is also recorded in Bhaishajyaratnavali, Brihannighantu Ratnakara, and Rasarajasundara.
