A medicated ghee prepared with Madhuka (Yashtimadhu) and Pippali used for respiratory and debility conditions.

Madhukadi Ghrita — Overview

Madhukadi Ghrita is a simple medicated ghee whose kalka is eight pala of Pippali, prepared in one prastha of cow's ghee with eight pala of Madhuka (Yashtimadhu) and one prastha of Draksha decocted to a Chaturdhavasishta Kashaya with eight parts of water.

It belongs to the Parisishta group of Ghritas and follows the conventional madhura-rasa ghrita pattern used for respiratory debility and tissue wasting.
