Kutajavaleha — Overview
Kutajavaleha is an electuary prepared by reducing fresh Kutaja bark in eight parts of rain water to one-eighth (Ashtamamsa Kashaya), then adding Samanga (Manjishta), Priyangu, Mocharasa and Indrayava.
It is administered internally along with Lajapeya, rice water, goat milk or cow milk depending on the patient's Agni Bala, and is indicated in Raktatisara (bloody diarrhea), Arshas (hemorrhoids) and both upper and lower Raktapitta (bleeding disorders).
