Kunakha Lepa

An external application with Manahshila, Tuttha, and coconut-shell oil for diseased or deformed nails.

Kunakha Lepa — Overview

Kunakha Lepa (Kulanakhattinu Kulambu) is an external application for diseased nails. Equal parts of Manahshila, Kharpara (Turisu), Tuttha, Ahiphena (Karuppu), Chuna (lime), Madhuschishta (beeswax), and Guda are ground into a fine powder.

The powder is then mixed with Narikela Kapala Dahana Siddha Taila (oil prepared from burnt coconut shell) and applied externally. It is indicated for Kunakha — nail disorders, including deformed, discolored, or diseased nails.
