Ksheerabala Taila — Overview

Ksheerabala Taila is a foundational Ayurvedic oil prepared from Bala root bark (5 pala) pounded into a paste with milk, then cooked with one prastha of sesame oil, Bala root decoction and cow's milk (each 4 prastha).

It is one of the most important formulations for vata disorders, traditionally indicated in the 80 types of Vataroga, covering neurological, musculoskeletal and systemic vata-related conditions.
