Kittadi Gutika

A mineral-herbal pill combining Mandura, Kantha, and Abhraka Bhasmas with mercury and sulfur, used for pain, anemia, asthma, abdominal disease, and poor digestion.

Kittadi Gutika — Overview

Kittadi Gutika is a mineral-rich pill combining Mandura Bhasma (4 pala), Kantha Bhasma (2 pala), Chincha Twak Bhasma (1 pala), Chitraka (1 pala), Krishnabhraka Bhasma (1½ pala), Swetabhraka Bhasma (1½ pala), Guda (4 kalanchi), Parada (4 kalanchi), and Gandhaka (4 kalanchi).

The mixture is pounded separately for one day each with the juices of Bhringaraja, Murva, Kuberaksha, and Palasa. It is indicated for Soola (pain), Pandu (anemia), Swasa (asthma), Udara (abdominal disorders), and Agnimandya (weak digestion) — a versatile iron-tonic for chronic digestive and anemic states.
