Kasturyadi Gutika

A complex multi-herb pill containing musk, camphor, and numerous aromatic and mineral ingredients used for neurological and joint disorders (Vataroga).

Kasturyadi Gutika — Overview

Kasturyadi Gutika is an elaborate classical Gutika containing Kasturi (musk), Kiratatikta, Rasna, Gandhamarjala Virya, Ayaskantha Bhasma, Karpura, Jatiphala, Kshara dwaya, Triphala, Trijataka (Twak, Ela, Patri), Kankushta, both Jeerakas, Dipyaka, Akarakarabha, Satahwa, Yashti, Lavanga, Gairika, Mustha, Bharangi, Pasupasi, Chandana, Vacha, Chinoshana, Trikatu, Tankana, Nilanjana, Vatsanabhi, Manahshila, Chandrasoora, and Hingula — each in equal part.

The drugs are pounded with water, milk, or Bhringaraja Swarasa and rolled into pills of one Gunja size. Administered internally with Jeeraka Kashaya, it is indicated for Vataroga — the wide classical category of neurological, joint, and Vata-dominant disorders.
