Karnapali Poshaka Ghrita

A buffalo-ghee based preparation with Yashtimadhu and Laksha, applied to nourish and strengthen the ear lobes.

Karnapali Poshaka Ghrita — Overview

Karnapali Poshaka Ghrita (Katuvalli Tadikka) is a specialized medicated ghee preparation designed to nourish and strengthen the ear lobes. The Kalka (paste) is prepared from Yashtimadhu, Laksha, Tavakshiri, Gairika, Vamsa twak, and Khadira sara.

The ghrita is cooked using Mahisha Ghrita (buffalo ghee) as the Sneha, Jeevaniya Panchamoola Kashaya as the Drava, and Mahisha Dugdha (buffalo milk) as an additional liquid. It is applied externally over the ear lobes for Karnapali Poshana — nourishment and strengthening of the ear lobe tissue.
