Kamala Yashtivasadi Kashaya — Overview
Kamala Yashtivasadi Kashaya is a morning decoction for Kamala (jaundice). It contains Yashtimadhu, Vasa, Guduchi, Hribera, Kataka, wet Amalaki (Hatha), Ikshu and Gokshura.
It is prepared as an Ashtamamsa Kashaya — reducing the water content to one-eighth — and administered early in the morning on an empty stomach to flush bile and cool the liver.
