Induppukanam — Overview
Induppukanam is a simple digestive choorna prepared from rock salt (Saindhava), Ajamoda, Pippali and Haritaki in a graded ratio of 1:2:4:6. The powder is taken internally with hot water or with sour buttermilk.
It is indicated for Agnimandya (poor digestive fire), where it warms the gut, stimulates appetite and relieves the heaviness of undigested food.
