Eranda Bilwadi Kashaya — Overview
Eranda Bilwadi Kashaya is a Vata-pacifying decoction indicated for pain across multiple body regions — Sroni (pelvis), Amsa (shoulder), Prishta (back), Hridaya (heart/chest), Sthana and Uru (thighs). It is built on Eranda (castor), Bilwa, Brihati, Kantakari, Matulunga, Pashanabheda, Trikatu and Mulaka.
The Kashaya is administered with Kshara, Hingu, rock salt and castor oil as anupana, which together drive deep Vata pain downward and out through the colon.
