Drakshadi Lehya — Overview
Drakshadi Lehya is a sweet electuary prepared from 1 Drona of Amalaki (Dhatri phala) juice cooked with half a Tula of sugar to Lehya consistency, then finished with Draksha and Pippali (1 Prastha each), Yashtimadhu, Sunthi, and Vamsalochana (2 pala each). After cooling, 1 Prastha of honey is added and the dose is about 12 g (1 tola).
It is indicated in Halimaka (a form of jaundice with greenish-yellow discolouration), anemia (Pandu), and jaundice (Kamala).
