Draksha Kashmaryadi Kashaya
A decoction of Draksha, Kashmarya, Kharjura, Patola, Nimba, Vasa, Laja, Bhumyamalaki and Yavasa with sugar for Pittaja and Raktaja measles.
Draksha Kashmaryadi Kashaya — Overview
Draksha Kashmaryadi Kashaya is specifically indicated for Pittaja and Raktaja Masurika — measles with high Pitta and blood involvement. It contains Draksha (raisins), Kashmarya, Kharjura (dates), Patola, Nimba, Vasa, Laja (parched rice), Bhumyamalaki and Yavasa.
The decoction is sweetened with Sarkara (sugar) when given, making this cooling, demulcent formulation well tolerated and particularly suited to children with fiery eruptions.
