Dashamooladi Kashaya

A decoction of Dasamoola, Guduchi, Haritaki and Devadaru used for fever, abscesses and swelling.

Dasamooladi Kashaya — Overview

Dasamooladi Kashaya is a decoction built on the classical Dasamoola (ten roots) augmented with Guduchi, Haritaki, Devadaru, Punarnava, Sigru, and Sunthi.

It is indicated in Jwara (fever), Vidradhi (abscess), and Sopha (swelling) — a triad where deep Vata needs to be reduced along with inflammation.
