Darvi Kapitthanirysadi Kashaya — Overview

Darvi Kapitthanirysadi Kashaya is one of the most elaborate Prameha formulations in this section. It combines Daruharidra, Kapittha exudate, Kataka, Haridra, Palasa bark, Usira, Karpasi bija, Yashti, Hribera, Mehari, Sweta Gunja moola, Utpala, Jambu twak, Mustha, Triphala, Chincha phala twak, Bhadrika, Kamala bija, Paranthi, Lodhra, Parpataka, and Chandana.

This wide-ranging decoction is indicated in Prameha (diabetes), layering hypoglycemic, astringent, and cooling herbs.
