Darvi Baladi Ghrita — Overview
Darvi Baladi Ghrita is a medicated ghee specifically targeted at Raktarshas (bleeding hemorrhoids). The Kalka Dravya is an extensive combination including Abhiru (Satavari), Ajamoda, Kushta, Yashti, Jala, Panchakola, Shyama, Saliparni, Bilwa, Devadaru, Sunthi, Kasamarya, Katukarohini, Rasanjana, Mustha, Kantakari, Vidari, Ativisha and Lavanga (1 tola each).
Goghrita (1 adhaka) is the Sneha base, and the Drava component is an Ashtamamsa Kashaya of Daruharidra, Bala, Gokshura, Prisniparni, Apamarga, Kutaja valkala, Ksheeri pallava and Punarnava, along with Ksheera, Changeri Swarasa and Trayantika Swarasa. This ghrita is indicated exclusively for Raktarshas, combining hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and tissue-healing actions.
