Fermented preparation with Danti, Dasamoola, Triphala and Chitraka used as a carminative and digestive tonic for hemorrhoids and anemia.

Dantyarishta — Overview

Dantyarishta combines Danti (Baliospermum montanum), Dasamoola, Vara (Triphala), Agni (Chitraka) and Jala, decocted to one-quarter and fermented with jaggery in a sealed earthen pot for one month.

It acts as a carminative and digestive stimulant (Anulomaka, Agni Vardhaka) and is indicated for a wide spectrum of disorders including hemorrhoids (Arshas), malabsorption (Grahani), anemia (Pandu), skin diseases (Kushta), abdominal disorders (Udara), poisoning (Garavisha), fever (Jwara), edema (Swayadhu), splenomegaly (Pleeha), heart disease (Hridroga), tumors (Gulma), tuberculosis (Yakshma), vomiting (Vami) and worms (Krimi).
