Dadimashtaka Choorna — Overview
Dadimashtaka Choorna is a classical Ayurvedic herbal powder built around Dadima (pomegranate), taken in 8 pala along with Sita (sugar) 8 pala, and one pala each of Yavani, Dhanyaka (coriander), Ajaji (cumin), Grandhika (Pippali moola), and Vyosha (Trikatu — dry ginger, black pepper, long pepper).
Its actions and indications are similar to Kapitthashtaka Choorna, and it is primarily used in Vatatisara (vata-type diarrhea) with the same anupana (vehicle). The formulation is referenced in Yogaratnakara, Gadanigraha, Bhaishajyaratnavali, and Chakradatta.
