Choornamruta Yoga — Overview
Choornamruta Yoga is a restorative powder used in wasting disease. It combines Talisa patra and Maricha (½ pala each), Draksha, Parushaka, Kataka, Bala moola and Pippali (1 pala each), Bharangi (2 pala), Sunthi, Chavya, Trijataka and Pippali moola (3 pala each), with sugar (4 pala).
The powder is taken early in the morning with madhu (honey) and is indicated for Kshaya roga — the eleven classical signs of Rajayakshma (pulmonary tuberculosis / chronic wasting).
