Chinchadi Taila — Overview

Chinchadi Taila is a medicated sesame oil named after Chincha (tamarind), one of its principal ingredients. The Kalka paste is prepared from Sweta Sarshapa, Devadaru, Sigru, Lavana and Sunthi, while the Drava Dravyas include the juices and decoctions of tamarind, castor, Prasarini, Varuna, Snuhi, Arka, Jambeera and green onion (Palandu), along with curd and Amla Sukta.

The formulation is classically indicated for 80 types of Vata disorders, offering broad relief across neurological and joint complaints.
