Decoction formulas for vomiting (Chardi) of all three doshic types, prepared from Bilwa, Dhanyaka, Bala, Sunthi, Laja, Mudga, Jambu and Amra pallavas.
Chardihara Kashaya — Overview
Chardihara Kashaya is used to treat vomiting (Chardi) of vata, pitta and kapha origin. The first formula contains Bilwa, Dhanyaka, Bala, Sunthi, Laja and Mudga, taken with sugar. The second is a simpler combination of Laja, Bilwa and Sunthi.
The third formula combines Jambu pallava, Amra pallava, Mustha, Hribera (Balaka), Usira and Sunthi, boiled and given with honey — it also addresses Raktasrava (bleeding).
