Bhunimbadi Kshara

A bhasma of Bhunimba, Katuka Rohini, Patola, Nimba and Parpataka given with buffalo urine as a digestive stimulant (Agni Vardhaka).

Bhunimbadi Kshara — Overview

Bhunimbadi Kshara is an Antardhooma Bhasma prepared from equal parts of Bhunimba, Katuka Rohini, Patola, Nimba and Parpataka — all bitter hepato-digestive herbs.

The bhasma is administered internally with buffalo urine (Mahisha mootra) and acts principally as an Agni Vardhaka, increasing digestive fire and correcting sluggish metabolism.
