Balaswagandhadi Taila — Overview
Balaswagandhadi Taila is an elaborate rejuvenating oil whose Kalka contains Rasna, Chandana, Manjishta, Durva, Madhuka, Kachora, Sariba, Usira, Mustha, Kushta, Aguru, Devadaru, Haridra, Kumuda, Renuka, Satahwa and Padmakesara in equal parts, processed with a decoction of Bala, Ashwagandha and Laksha in Dadhi masthu (whey).
It is indicated for Sarva Jwara (all fevers), Unmada (psychosis), Kshaya (wasting), Kasa (cough) and various Vata disorders, and is also a Pushtikaraka (nourishing tonic).
