Ayavu Kulambu — Overview

Ayavu Kulambu is an external application prepared from equal parts of Rasbhari (Mridukunchika), Guduchi, fresh Haridra, Supari twak, Prasarini, Satavari, and Durva Swarasa.

The drugs are pounded with Kadali phala (banana fruit) and Saindhava lavana (rock salt) to form an external paste. It is applied for Pesi (muscular) disorders and Siragraha nasa — to relieve stiffness and constriction of blood vessels and tendons.
