Aviltoladi Bhasma Ganji — Overview
Aviltoladi Bhasma Ganji is a stronger ash-kanji formulation used for Sopha (edema), Gulma (abdominal tumors) and Udara (abdominal disorders). Puti Karanja bark, Apamarga, Danti, Sweta Arka, Eranda root, Kokilaksha, Aragwadha bark, Trina Snuhi, Tala Pushpa, Snuhi root and Kadali kanda are all calcined into ash.
The ash is dissolved in water, filtered, and then combined with an equal quantity of buttermilk or milk to make a medicinal Kanji. The alkalinity of the ash combined with the demulcent milk makes it effective against stubborn fluid accumulations and abdominal masses.
