Ashtamangala Ghrita is a classical medicated ghee attributed to Maharshi Atreya. It is prepared with Patola, Sariba, Mustha, Madhuka, Katurohini, Usira, Chandana, and Pippali as the Drava Dravyas, cooked with cow's ghee.
It has three classical actions: Sarva Jwarahara (treats all fevers), Rakshoghna (wards off evil influences and infections), and Pushti Vardhaka (promotes nourishment and strength).
