Aruchihara Amra Kashaya — Overview

Aruchihara Amra Kashaya is a decoction for anorexia (Aruchi) centred around mango parts. It combines Amra pallava and Vrinta (mango tender leaves and stalks), Bilwa leaves, Laja (parched paddy), Ardraka (fresh ginger), Ikshu (sugarcane) and Matulunga kesara (citron stamens).

The sour, astringent and aromatic qualities stimulate digestive fire and restore interest in food.
