Arkapatradi Bhasma

A calcined powder of arka leaves and rock salt prepared by antardhooma vidhi, given with curd whey for spleen disorders.

Arkapatradi Bhasma — Overview

Arkapatradi Bhasma is prepared from Arka (Calotropis) leaves and rock salt in equal parts, calcined by the Antardhooma Bhasma Vidhi (closed-container incineration). It is administered with Dadhi masthu (curd whey).

It is indicated for Pleeha roga — spleen disorders and splenomegaly.
