Ardrakadi Ghrita

A medicated ghee made with ginger and Aragwadha, taken in the morning for abdominal disorders.

Ardrakadi Ghritam — Overview

Ardrakadi Ghritam is a medicated ghee built around Ardraka (fresh ginger). The paste is Vyosha (Trikatu), Trijataka, Mustha, Amalaki, Trivrit, and Vidanga. The liquid medium is the juice of ginger, Aragwadha, Arka, Snuhi, and Trayantika.

It should be taken early in the morning with suitable Anupana and is indicated for Udara roga — abdominal disorders including distension and ascites.
