Aranaladi Taila
A Sarjarasa-based oil prepared by pounding in a Khalwa Yantra, used externally for fever, burning sensation and gout.
Aranaladi Taila — Overview
Aranaladi Taila is unique in its preparation — Sarjarasa is pounded with sesame oil and Aranala (sour gruel) in a Khalwa Yantra, and the butter-like substance that separates out is collected.
It is applied externally for Jwara (fever), Daha (burning sensation) and Vatarakta (gout).
