Anjhadadi Taila
A medicated oil with Bhumyamalaki, Nimba, Nirgundi and Haridra used for lip disorders.
Anjhadadi Taila — Overview
Anjhadadi Taila is prepared with a Kalka of Nisa (Haridra) at four tola, cooked in half a prastha of sesame oil, with the fresh juice of Anjhada (Bhumyamalaki), Nimba and Nirgundi leaves as the Drava Dravya.
It is indicated in Oshtaroga (lip disorders) — cracked lips, cheilitis and lip ulcers — where its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial actions soothe and heal.
