Amrutashtaka Kashaya — Overview
Amrutashtaka Kashaya is an eight-drug (ashtaka) decoction of Guduchi (Amruta), Nimba (Arishta), Katuka, Mustha, Kutaja seed (Indrayava), Sunthi, Patola and Chandana.
It is administered internally along with Pippali Choorna and is indicated in vomiting (Chardi), anorexia (Aruchi), Pitta-Kapha fever, nausea (Hrillasa), burning sensation (Daha) and excessive thirst (Trishna).
