Amrutadi Kashaya (Pachanamruta) — Overview

Amrutadi Kashaya, also known as Pachanamruta, is a decoction of Guduchi (Amruta), Usira, Vasa, Mustha, Sunthi, Bhunimba, Hribera (Balaka), Parpataka, Dhanyaka and Dhanvayasa.

It is used primarily to relieve fever and to digest ama (undigested metabolic toxins) — a common therapeutic strategy in the early stages of most febrile and digestive illnesses.
