Amritotthara Taila — Overview
Amritotthara Taila is a cooling medicated oil prepared with a kalka of chandana, usira, kushta, mustha, sariba, amalaka, and utpala (2 tola each). The sneha dravya is tila taila (1 prastha) and the drava dravyas are guduchi quath (4 prastha) and milk (2 prastha).
It is indicated in Sirodaha (burning sensation in the head), Pitta Gulma, Jwara (fever), and Prameha (diabetic and urinary disorders), addressing a cluster of pitta-origin conditions.
