Marma

A vital energy point on the body, similar to an acupuncture point, used both therapeutically and diagnostically where consciousness is most expressive.

Marma Points and Mamsa Dhatu

Mamsa dhatu is connected to the marmani—the doors of relaxation and dynamic awareness. Marmani are energy points connected to the neuromuscular junctions, similar to acupuncture points, where Consciousness is most lively in expressing itself. Pressing a marma point acts on receptors or neurotransmitters and brings relaxation to the muscle. Via the marma-muscle connection, one can send a message to the heart, lungs, or pancreas. In this way, muscles are connected to the internal organs.
