Lehya
A semi-solid medicinal preparation taken by licking, commonly used to administer bhasmas and rasayanas.
Definition
Lehya is a semi-solid herbal preparation—often a confection or paste—designed to be taken by licking. Chyawanprash is the most famous example, and lehya form is commonly used for rasayanas and bhasmas.
